Paper Title: Maker of Heaven
Abstract:
The Creed issued by the Holy Fathers at the First Ecumenical Council in Nicaea affirms that God is the “maker of heaven.” What does this mean? What is the heavenly realm? What are the spiritual powers? How are they organized? This paper tries to give answers to these questions based on the teachings of the Holy Fathers of the Orthodox Church, especially Dionysius the Areopagite.

Fr. Cosmin has been serving Orthodox Christian Churches in North America for the last 20 years. He was educated in Romania, he holds a ThM from HCHC, and he is an AHOS PhD student. His experience includes prison ministry and teaching.
