2026 Winter Symposium
Call-for-Papers
The Antiochian House of Studies’ Orthodox Academic Society will be holding its 2026 Winter Symposium themed The Most Holy Theotokos in the Teachings of the Church Fathers. The symposium will take place on Jan 24th 2026, via Zoom. The symposium will run 3 hours and consist of 20 minute summary presentations of each paper, followed by 15 minute question and answer sessions.Â
OAS symposia offer AHOS graduate students enrolled in the MTS, MPCC, MDiv, DMin or PhD programs a chance to present their academic work to the wider AHOS community. All papers are welcome but papers related directly to the First Ecumenical Council will be given preference in the selection process.
A notice of acceptance to selected presenters will be sent in December 2025.
-> Papers will be received from October 15th to December 10th.
